Applications:

SF6 leak detector "KARAT" is designed for high sensitivity leak testing of SF6, freons and other gases from the vessels under overpressure. Due to using of the compact pulse - periodic laser and special photo-acoustical detector (PAD) the sensitivity of SF6 detecting at a level 1x10-9 cc/sec or 0.2 mg/year is reached. This is much higher in a comparison with electro discharge, halogen and helium leak detectors in sniffing mode.
- SF6 leak detector “KARAT” allows to detect SF6 leakage at a level 1x10-9 cc3/sec or 0,2 mg/year.
- Monitoring of SF6 leakage on power stations, in chemical, aerospace, communication and other productions.
- All areas of a science and engineering connected to use of tight gas systems and volumes, gas pipelines, vacuum systems and so on.

Key features:

- The detector has the air pump for delivery of air sample to PAD.
- Detector contain the control panel is equipped with a telescopic sample intake and a light volume indicator.
- The detector is activated and deactivated with help of the hand-held control panel, which indicates the current concentration of the gas under study and laser output power.
- The indications of the light volume indicator are duplicated by beep.
- Micro processor in the control circuit of the detector allows to set an optimum mode of power consumption for switching on and under measurements, to connect if necessary detector to computer USB port for testing.
- SF6 leak detector operates in real time mode. The actual speed (< 1 sec) is determined by time of delivery of gas sample to PAD.
